Tax bill passed, candidates for governor

Last legislative session, the H1 education bill was presented, passed, amended and then thrown out. Following a recall initiative, petitions were signed and 3 candidates remain: the Attorney General Swanson (Kentavius), Lopez (Eric) and Meg.

One bill, HR 4, passed as a tax break for small businesses. Details include a cap at 1,000 employees with a break of $25,000 per employee for up to 3 years.

A monumental decision has been made in regards to to continuation of Governor Swimmers executive reign. Citing specific wording in the Constitution of the State of Arizona, Swimmer fought to retain a title that was still in all forms legitimately his. Unfortunately in a vote of 2-1 the Supreme Court upheld the recalled petition and candidates for the now vacant Governors seat began.
Following a rousing, emotional speech Kentavius was able to sway the people and with an overwhelming 77% of the vote became the new Governor-elect of Arizona. Alot of promises have been made and it is the hope of this reporter that those made can be successfully upheld.

    -Legislative News
House bill HR-4 was vetoed by ousted governor Swimmer only to be overridden in an 18-2 vote by the Az. legislature. HR-4 and HR-1 have been officially approved and only HR-1 requires the Governors signature to become law
